Another Historical Fiction you won't regret reading!

The story of three strong women living in the early days of Nazi Berlin. Narrated by two of the women. Hanna, a german engaged to an SS officer who rapes her because he can, and Mathilda "Tilde" the daughter of a german father and a jewish mother.

Each women pretends to be something they are not, but with limited freedoms the course of each has been set.

The "bride school" is almost an after thought in the story to be honest. While a good read, the title is somewhat misleading as the school doesn't appear till late in the story, and is passed over quite quickly. I wish it had taken a more predominate role in the story. The stories focus was much more about the cultural and societal expectations of the time that were placed on women.

I really enjoyed the read! I loved the characters. It's full of emotion, compassion and peoples willingness to sacrifice it all for others. A haunting story with three very different outcomes.

Pick it up, and let me know what you think! Does this sound like something you'd like to read?
