It's World Outlander Day celebrating the 34th anniversary of OUTLANDER's publication in 1991.
The Outlander series focuses on 20th-century British nurse Claire Randall, who time travels to 18th-century Scotland and finds adventure and romance with dashing Highland Warrior Jamie Fraser.
The tenth and final book in the series, was just announced, "A Blessing for a Warrior Going Out". A publication date is yet to be announced.

Just finished Where Sleeping Girls Lie and it’s a 10/10 for me

I've gone to the booksale more than half a dozen times and never been disappointed! I try to tell myself I'm not going to go crazy but I fail every year! Important tips: have a list of books you're looking for but dont be married to it! Most important: Bring a big bag, trolly, shopping tote on wheels, suitcase etc. your inventory will get very heavy!!

Good morning!
I managed to get an early copy of Fredrik Backman's new novel! I started it last night and I can already tell it's going to be beautiful, captivating and heart-wrenching. Are there any other Backman fans out there?

I'm hoping to finish this book today! Bunny is a contemporary fiction/horror blend. I'm all about mixing my genres!
It's a dark satire that is looking at sororities and just fitting in in general. It's definitely a weird one, so it may not be for everyone but I am loving it!!

I just finished listening to this book on audio. Actually, I found it on youtube, so gave it a try.
It was a nice light read (listen), a pallet cleanser after a pretty heavy read, before another heavy read. I find I need those from time to time. They help lighten the mood, and because I read alot of historical fiction they stop books muddling together in my mind.

This is the third year of the sale that supports literacy programs in local jails.
