It's World Outlander Day celebrating the 34th anniversary of OUTLANDER's publication in 1991.
The Outlander series focuses on 20th-century British nurse Claire Randall, who time travels to 18th-century Scotland and finds adventure and romance with dashing Highland Warrior Jamie Fraser.
The tenth and final book in the series, was just announced, "A Blessing for a Warrior Going Out". A publication date is yet to be announced.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending an authors talk and book signing in Cambridge, held by the Cambridge Public Library. I met and heard @thealkajoshi, the author of the The Henna Artist, The Secret Keeper of Jaipur and The Perfumist of Paris discuss her latest book, Six Days in Bombay.

I've gone to the booksale more than half a dozen times and never been disappointed! I try to tell myself I'm not going to go crazy but I fail every year! Important tips: have a list of books you're looking for but dont be married to it! Most important: Bring a big bag, trolly, shopping tote on wheels, suitcase etc. your inventory will get very heavy!!

The Guelph Tool Library is bringing back the Free to Read Book Sale on Saturday April 26, 2025 from 10 am until 3 pm. This is the third year of the sale that supports literacy programs in local jails. Timed to celebrate World Book Day, the Free to Read Book Sale is taking place in the main concourse of the Old Quebec Street Shoppes and will feature over 7500 books for sale!
